During the run of show 110 in the Shade, in 2004, Justin Tan, a student from the Arcadia High School, ushered for the first time. He was so taken by his experience that he soon became a valuable and much appreciated usher. During the summer, he volunteered for every performance. We loved him and continued to see him through the years.
Justin graduated from UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. Then a few years of struggle followed before Justin turned his dreams into reality. He is now a writer of the TV show Abbot Elementary where he directed an episode and may direct other episodes in the future. Lenore Almanzar and Patrick Oliva, the members of the Friends of the Pasadena Playhouse reunited with Justin recently and were delighted to hear about his work and upcoming projects. We're proud of him and congratulate him on his success! Comments are closed.
