Dining OutFriends meet the friends and enjoy meals at local restaurants. A part of revenue from dining out goes to the Friends of The Pasadena Playhouse.
The upcoming events are announced in the Friends calendar and via email. Check out our calendar for the next dining out event. |
Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts Volunteer with us for the annual Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts (PSHA) and support local art programs and our theatre!
Funds we receive from staffing the PSHA allow us to provide non-budgeted items for our theatre. In 2022, our volunteers and friends staffed 71 shifts out of 310 shifts. Thank you to everyone for your time, dedication and donations! |
The Friends have adopted the Greenroom and refurbished it a little at a time. Dressing rooms have been painted, a new carpet and new refrigerator have been installed ... all this before the beginning of the 2016-2017 season.
Our Friend Allan Yovanovich knew just a right young man for taking on the task of painting -- Eagle Scout candidate Joshua Quan. Our multi-talented Friend and House Artist Peggy Ebright helped to select a Craftsman palette. They assembled a crew, arranged financial backing, and completed the project. |
The Playhouse staff member Kristen Hammack and her mother, Wendy Hammack had donated new drapery to dressing rooms.

In July 2017, the Friends hosted the Greenroom Reception by re-dedicating the Greenroom to Sheldon Epps' parents St. Paul and Kathryn Epps.
This was the Friends’ Centennial gift to The Playhouse. We also chose that project to acknowledge Sheldon’s 20 years as Artistic Director, and all that he has accomplished in that time. The reception was attended by Sheldon Epps, the Playhouse staff, Eagle Scout Joshua Quan, members of the Friends, Playhouse Board members and Larry Wilson from the Star News. |
