Other Ways to Support the Friends and the Pasadena Playhouse

Ralphs Community Contribution

Register the Friends as a designated non-profit organization at Ralphs online. Shop
at a store and help the Friends with fundraising.

Last year, the Friends received nearly $1,000. The Friends of the Pasadena Playhouse registration number with
Ralphs Community Program is 82503.

September 1, 2017 is the time to re-register for Ralph's Community Contribution. All of the past year’s registration wishes has been cleared on August 31.

If you are registered your Raplhs card with the Ralphs Community Contribution Program last year, you must re-register your wish with Ralphs Community Contribution starting September 1, 2017. If you are not registered, please join in after September 1st.

You can register/enroll online by creating an account at www.ralphs.com or you call for registration assistance at 1-800-443-4438.

The Ambassadors of the Pasadena Playhouse

The Ambassadors is a volunteer group charged with the mission of promoting The Playhouse, to steward current supporters and to garner new supporters. The Ambassadors act as hosts in the Georgia McClay Friendship Center and the Playhouse Library before shows and during intermission to Playhouse donors, potential donors, and guests.

Gilmor Brown Society

Named after the Playhouse founder and director, the Gilmor Brown Society is dedicated to a legacy of live theatre. It was established to recognize, honor, and thank individuals for provisions they have made through thoughtful estate planning to further the mission of the Pasadena Playhouse.

About the center: The Georgia T. McClay Friendship Center is named after a long time volunteer and friend of the theatre. Georgia first attended the Pasadena Playhouse when she was in the 7th grade. Her love for the theatre grew throughout her life. When the Playhouse reopened during 1980s, Georgia was one of the first volunteer members of new volunteer guild - the Friends of the Pasadena Playhouse. She continued this work for nearly twenty years. During 2001-2002, the Friends received a million dollar endowment from the Georgia T. McClay estate and made a generous donation to the Next Stage Campaign.
The Center hosts interactive exhibits, dramaturgical material and conversation surrounding the Main
Stage productions.
