Book  a  Tour

Learn  backstage  stories  on the  tour  around  The  Playhouse

Tour Information

The Pasadena Playhouse tours may return in Fall 2024.
​Please stay tuned for the future updates. 
​
Get a glimpse of what actors see on the other side of a curtain and learn about the history of one the nation's outstanding theatres. Visit a shop where sets and props are made. See a Green Room where actors wait for their cues and find out why it is called the Green Room. Learn where costumes come from and visit a fabulous Playhouse library.

We can accommodate small and large groups.
  • Tour approximate length  - 1  hour.
  • Advanced reservations are required.
  • Some areas of the theatre have narrow passageways  and require climbing stairs.​
  • You may take pictures during the tour.
  • Photography and videotaping of stage designs, props, and any copyrighted  content is prohibited. 
  • Parking information 
  • Tours and events  are photographed or videotaped for promotional purposes. Please notify our staff if you
                      prefer not to be photographed.

The tours are operated by the members of the Friends of The Pasadena Playhouse and alumni of the Pasadena Playhouse College of Theatre Arts. There is no charge for the tours.

Your donations are gratefully accepted and appreciated. All funds received are used to improve and add to services to the general public and/or the betterment of the Playhouse facility.
